If you do not require one of our fully featured hosting plans for your domain(s) then the following features and services are included in our FREE Domain Plus account:

Any domain you register will be registered in your name, or your company's name if applicable.

NOTE: These features and services are FREE to use as long as your domain is hosted on me2uweb name servers and subject to an initial one-off setup charge.

General

Disk Space
20MB of disk space is allocated to your account for storing email sent to mailboxes at your domain. This limit should be more than sufficient if you download your email on a regular basis. Those users requiring additional storage or wishing to host their web site on our servers should consider one of our web hosting plans.

Data Transfer (Bandwidth)
Each time a domain on your account is accessed or email is sent to a domain on your account data is transferred across the Internet. The amount of data transfer (bandwidth) used by your account depends directly on the number of visitors to your domain and the amount of email you send and receive. The amount of data transfer can be monitored via your control panel and you will be notified by email once you reach 80% of your monthly allowance. If you find you require more bandwidth then you can upgrade your account at any time.

Control Panel
All aspects of your account can be managed instantly via our easy to use online control panel. You will be able to configure email options and set-up other features on your domain at any time, day or night.

Please note: The control panel uses port 2082 and webmail uses port 2095 so these must be enabled if you are accessing the Internet from behind a firewall.

Domains

Parked / Mirrored Domains
Parked (mirrored) domains allow you to have additional domain names on your hosting account that users can use to reach the same website as your primary domain. This is useful if you want to register multiple domains with different extensions (for example: yourdomain.com & yourdomain.co.uk). Independent email addresses can be set-up at each of the domains.

There is no limit to the number of domains that can be parked (mirrored) on your account. Additional domains can be parked on your account by specifying the domain mirroring option on the order form when registering your domains.

Please note: You cannot use parked domains in your web space and have a different website displayed depending on the domain entered by the user. If you want to display different websites for your domains then you would need to have multiple accounts.

If you have already registered a domain elsewhere you can transfer it and park / mirror it on your account.

Web Forwarding / Park Page
If you already have web space elsewhere you can have all web requests for your domain forwarded to this space. When someone types www.yourdomain.com in their web browser they will automatically forwarded to any web address (URL) you specify. Using the account control panel you can select either simple redirection or masked (framed) redirection for your domain.

Masked (framed) redirection places a frames page at your domain name containing details of the destination URL. When a visitor enters your domain name in the address bar of their browser they will be automatically forwarded to the destination URL, but the address shown in their address bar will not change. Using this option effectively masks the real location of the web site from the visitor. With this option you can also set the values to be displayed in the head tags of the frames page.

If you do not require web forwarding or a web site at this time you can park your domain name on our server until such time as you are ready to make use of it. By default, all visitors to your domain(s) will be shown our 'Domain Holding' page which states that the domain visited has been registered by one of our clients. Using your account control panel you can enter HTML for your own holding page.

Email

Email Accounts (POP3 / IMAP)
You can set-up an unlimited number of email addresses on your account. Email received for an address can either be forwarded (see below) or stored in a mailbox on our server for retrieval later using an email client program like Outlook Express or our Webmail facility (see below).

Email Forwarding
Email sent to any address at your domain name(s) can be automatically forwarded to either a POP3 mailbox on our server or forwarded to an existing email address elsewhere. You can set-up an unlimited number of forwarders on your account and set-up multiple forwards for any address.

Autoresponders
Autoresponders are email messages that are sent automatically when an email arrives for a specific email address on your account. Autoresponders are most commonly used for an "Out of Office" style message to inform your correspondents that you are not available, without you having to reply manually.

Email Filtering
Email filters are a way of filtering your email to reroute mail based on a variety of criteria. Detected mail can be deleted or forwarded to another email address.

Email virus Protection
All incoming email is scanned using Clam AntiVirus and any emails containing viruses are automatically removed from the system before you download them to your inbox. Clam AntiVirus is able to detect over 29000 known viruses and is constantly updated as new viruses are found.

Anti-SPAM blacklist checking
Our email servers check the originating IP address of all incoming emails against realtime databases of spam-sources, including known spammers, open mail relays, spam operations and spam support services. The databases are maintained by the Spamhaus Project.

Spam Assassin
All incoming email is scanned using Spam Assassin, an automated mail filter that uses a wide range of heuristic algorithms on mail headers and message body text, to identify "SPAM" (unsolicited email).

SMTP (Outgoing) Server
Many ISPs will not allow the relaying (sending) of email for other domains through their mail servers or in the case of broadband ISPs not provide any email services at all. To address these issues you will be able to send email using your own SMTP server (mail.yourdomain.com).

NOTE: There is a strict 120 mails per domain per hour sending limit.

Webmail
Using this facility you will be able to access your email from anywhere at any time as long as you have access to the Internet.

Miscellaneous

Email Technical Support
Email technical support is available should you run into difficulty configuring your account. In order to maintain our low prices for domain name registration and web hosting solutions, we are unable to offer telephone support or support relating to web site development.

Free Transfer To Another ISP
No charge is payable to us in the event that you wish to transfer your domain(s) to another ISP or web hosting company unless you have opted for one of our web hosting accounts and your hosting account has already expired.

In the event that you did opt for a web hosting account and your web hosting account has already expired there will be a one-off administration charge of £5.00 (£5.75 incl. VAT) to make any change to the name servers or IPS Tag on your domain or to authorise a registry transfer.

Please note that if you opt to transfer your domain(s) to another ISP or web hosting company you will not be able to use any of the FREE services normally associated with our domain registration service.
